My stay in Gainesville was decent overall. The hotel's rooms, though not the best gathering space, had a musty smell possibly due to an old AC unit that made me think of a freight train. The service was super accommodating, and the staff was friendly and helpful, always asking about my mom. The location was pretty good, easy to reach downtown restaurants either by walking or a quick Uber ride, and with convenient access to I-195. Dining was decent with good options. The facilities were okay, not very impressive.
